Personally, I find it more useful when the recommended commands are alone on a line. Then I can triple-click to get the whole line and paste it into a terminal without having to carefully position the mouse to select what's inside the double quotes, i.e., Run this: ./bootstrap && ./configure && make && make check && make distcheck
