Hello! Isn't it time to remove %obsolete_macros and the related stuff from Automake? It is Autoconf's problems. Autoconf has its own techinique to declare macros obsolete. Autoconf provides autoupdate. Whether a macro is obsolete depends on the version of Autoconf. Why should Automake care and add more complexity? Unless the correct functioning of Automake itself depends on new macros being used, why annoy the user? If I want those warnings I can just run "autoconf -W obsolete" and get a bunch of them :-) Regards, Pavel Roskin _______________________________________________ Automake mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/automake
