I've already gotten gentoo to add it. I'm pretty sure it won't be the default though. It should go into what's called a masked package, which means it hasn't been tested enough to be called stable, so use at your own risk. If it turns out to be bad, they can always security mask it or remove it entirely. I just got the email today, so I don't know what the actual ebuild looks like.
