I just now tried v1.10b-48-g642786a, and I have to say,
AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([-Wall silent-rules])
does not give me silent rules, but it does not throw a warning for an
unknown option either. Automake is invoked via `autoreconf -fi`.
What's up with it?
