A while ago I posted instructions on how to generate coverage information for the perl parts of Automake, including results: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.automake.general/11088 That doesn't help for shell or makefile snippets, but it's a whole lot better than nothing. Cheers, Ralf
