Yes, I've seen similar issues. A further issue is that boottool needs to
be built, but the libraries are in the SDK iso and no in DVD1.

Consider a work-item :) (feel free to file it in github, I think). SLES
is definitely not supported as fully as RH/FC, in my experience.
