Hi Folks,

We are trying to use the feature-rich Autotest framework. What stops us is
the mandatory requirement of having root access to client machines. We
cannot have root access to client machines, we could at most have sudo. For
most of test cases of our interest, root access to clients isn't required.

There appears to be some efforts to patch Autotest for this function, such
as the following one. Not sure what the efforts ended up eventually? Are
there patches that apply to more recent Autotest code base?

[PATCH v2 0/6] Fixes for running on unprivileged clients

Thanks,
Jun
