Ahh, ya, that stuff is deeeeeeep in the bowels of autotest. We had some docs on it somewhere... https://github.com/autotest/autotest/wiki/AddingTest ...and... https://github.com/autotest/autotest/wiki/AutotestApi (in case you haven't read them) IIRC, none of that stuff has changed much in a long time, so the docs should be /mostly/ correct. As for passing arguments, it's really up to you, since you're on the edge of what autotest was intended for. However, if you'd like to stay in line with the rest of the content...then look through some of the other tests to see what __kind__ of stuff is kept in control files vs passed into a test. There is a pattern, but it's more philosophical than technological :) -- Chris Evich, RHCA, RHCE, RHCDS, RHCSS Quality Assurance Engineer e-mail: cevich + `@' + redhat.com o: 1-888-RED-HAT1 x44214 _______________________________________________ Autotest-kernel mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/autotest-kernel
