Hello,
I am using autotest to run some performance tests, i tried bonnie, then
thread io and permon, but for some reason it's not able to run
successfully and i am not able to understand outputs, unfortunately i
will not be able to send it ... most likely it's failing due to some
compile errors.
I hope you understand such a report is next to useless, as you just said
"things are failing and I think it is due to compilation errors". Logs
would be useful, they can be put on a .tar.bz2 file and put on a github
issue:

If I had to guess, I'd say you don't have all tools and libraries needed
to build the suites you wanted to run, but I must say I *really* dislike
having to guess.
where do i find such tar files or some third party tools which can help
me in running some performance related tests and later i can create my
own test, if they manually works fine ? ..
I have no idea what you are talking about.
Ok, after thinking about this one, I realized you want benchmark suites
that you can automate. Well, a good deal of benchmarks on Linux are
already automated on autotest, if you want to find more, I suppose you
could look into the phoronix test suite, that is a collection of
benchmarks for linux:

I haven't took a good look at all the suites in there, but it seems like
a good start.
