Hi,
In our environment we're testing some systems that have a daemon in a crash
loop. That in itself is of course already a problem, but when we run autotest
on these systems it collects a core file for each crash instance until the
local disk is completely filled up. At this point autotest itself can't run any
more as it can't create any new log directories.
I'm currently looking at the code and planning to implement a mechanism that
doesn't collect multiple cores for the same process name, or at least rate
limits it. Wondering if somebody has any suggestions around this or had to deal
with this before.
Thanks,Jan
