So folks, most of the packaging work patches, including the API changing ones got upstream. Now, there's an ongoing setup.py work that will be finalized, that will be kept on a new branch of my private fork called 'packaging', which means the branch 'fudcon', that's over a year old now is effectively closed and removed from my private fork.
Let's carry on with the work, thanks and let me know of any problems you might have (I've done my best to test autotest with these patches for all use cases I could think of, but obviously things might have slipped).
