I'd suggest you to reinstall from scratch using the new install script, 
see updated instructions in:

https://github.com/autotest/autotest/wiki/KVMAutotest-GetStartedServer

Section Install Script. It's very straightforward and you hardly have to 
do anything but run the script with appropriate values for the db and 
autotest user passwords.
