Prasad,

I've just re-run the test with the same commit you're using (the current 
HEAD of master) and again, could not replicate it.

Maybe it's something related to the system you're running the test on. 
Is is a fresh system? If not, could you try on one? A simple (but fresh) 
virtual machine will do for the sleep test.
