I merged this now as it doesn't seem to break Avahi on Linux. ;-) Solaris people, please test! I was wondering why they are split up so strangely and compressed and included changes on generated files. Dear porters: Please keep in mind that I do not consider the non-Linux ports release critical. I will merge all non-Linux patches that look sensible to me without any testing. I don't have non-Linux machines around so I solely rely on the contributor that the patch works as intended. What does this mean for you? Please make sure that current SVN works on your system if you want it properly supported in the next official version! And please think twice if you submit a patch to make sure that it doesn't break other OSes! Thank you very much!
