Feel free to post a wishlist bug and request this. Or even better post a patch, since just posting the bug is no guarantee at all that this will ever show up! (Please note that this probably not an easy change to Avahi, but of course I encourage everyone to hack on an Avahi and would gladly merge any patches which implement this -- as long as they have reasonable quality.)
