This is just a formal "hello" for anyone that is interested.
My company is currently building a new suite of Java based
products, and has hit upon the need for a distributed, modular
server application environment. Needless to say, Avalon looks
useful.
We are a commercial developer, and so are looking to build
commercial products based upon our ideas. However, we're also a
believer in the commuinty source programs, and so where our
expertise permits we'll also try and contibute to the commuinty
effort on Avalon. And naturally, on both counts will respect it's
license policy.
