Component Infrastructure is ready

The component infrastructure is now ready to be placed in Avalon.
I will wait until I get the propper +1's from both camps.  Giacomo
inserted the RoleInfo interface and default implementation, and
I augmented it so that we can pre-specify hint types in the same
manner that roles are specified.

So shall we move it?
