Okay. Well I guess the question is - how much protection do you need? and
how much pluggability do you need?
ie Would it be acceptable for your main application just to manually create
the components and place them in ClassLoader?

Not sure. Personally if I was you I would also rewrite (or get us to
rewrite) parts of embeddor so that the SystemManager object is not used (or
maybe a noop version is used instead).

I guess we need more information. WHat exactly are you using it for and
what level of protection/separation do you need?
