Despite Xalan2 having its first release in February, and two minor releases since, there are a number of projects which have not stepped up, including Avalon. Now Xerces has moved on to DOM3, and while Xalan2 is keeping up, Xalan1 is falling behind. For these reasons, I'm going to switch tonight's Gump build of Avalon to build with Xalan2. This impacts the i18n/XPath support.
