hi paul,
since avalon is a software infrastructure platform, you
cannot ship GLUE standard freely as part of avalon.
however, there is nothing stopping people from building
applications using GLUE and avalon together, and you
could certainly ship some kind of adaptor that would allow
developers to download GLUE and utilize them together
(in the way that BEA developers can download GLUE and
use it within BEA, but BEA cannot ship GLUE with WebLogic).
