Yes you should read the devnotes. I got in some trouble here because I didn't.
And they were right!!
No you don't need to read the cvs manual (but its recommended). Check the username
and password and try it again. I'm using wincvs, too and it fits well for sending
patches and to get the latest code.

Yes man everybody is using cvs here, and it's great. I checked out
cornerstore with wincvs and get the samples on my harddisc.
