Having said that I am not that active in Excalibur. Also politically I see that many "Commoners" are warm to Avalon. Also worth considering is the fact that we (Avalon) have a problem of branding. We're not yet convincing many other to base their (primarily) server apps on Avalon projects. Perhaps we should consider the opposite approach - move some commons code to Excalibur and ramp up our branding effort.
