Folks, In line with suggestions from Remy on Tomcat-dev I have abandond the Embedded class and am trying to work with the CatalinaService class. I've deleted lots of code and so far Phoenix instantiates the Bay component and starts it. It is fairly useless though as it has a) not been configured and b) has no webapps or default hosts associated with it. My guess is we'll have to crib code from 'BootstrapService' to get it working.
