I've just tried switching from JDK 1.3 to JDK 1.4 and found that JdbcConnectionPools no longer work. Has anyone noticed this? Switching back to JDK 1.3 solves the problem.
Debug log: 2002-02-20T23:55:30 FATAL [jdbc]: Excalibur could not create any connections. Examine your settings to make sure they are correct. Make sure you can connect with the same settings on your machine. 2002-02-20T23:55:30 WARN [jdbc]: Could not return Connection java.lang.IllegalStateException: There are no connections in the pool, check your settings. at org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.JdbcConnectionPool.get(JdbcConnectionPool.java:124) at org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.JdbcDataSource.getConnection(JdbcDataSource.java:201) Tried updating my CVS tree to see if this has been fixed, but it looks like CVS is down.
