Most things are moving towards Anakia using the same DTD used in rest of Jakarta. After waiting for close to a year for someone to actually fix our document situation I decided no one was going to do it so I did it myself.
The remaining stuff should be completed within another 2 months unless you want to help. Theres a converter script in jakarta-avalon/tools/converter.xml for converting between cocoons and anakias format. Currently 90% of the projects that use cocoon in avalon land are broken as the main jakarta-avalon/tools dir was updated but few of its users were updated. Anakia is sooo much easier to use. Drop a file in and it works and takes a mere fraction of the time our old system did.
