nope. At least not in this case ;(

You may ask the author to change it to LGPL or Apache licensed. He already 
uses Velocity which is Apache licensed (and thus his code can not legally be 
GPL anyway).

In the future there is http://xulux.org/ which is being written by Apache 
people. Nut other than that - not sure.
