Hi Rob, late as always (been busy ;)......could you add the following for avalon?
-------------------------------------------------------- Avalon ====== "The Avalon project is an effort to create, design, develop and maintain a common framework and set of components for applications written using the Java language" Editor: Leo Simons Not too much has happened for avalon in the last few weeks in terms of code change; the most exiting additions this month are probably the customizable classloader tree support [1] and the new auto-assembly [2] features in Avalon-Phoenix. The big change and most of the work this month has gone into something else: an Avalon PMC has been formed [3]! Work is currently underway to define a charter and otherwise discuss and decide on the feature of the Avalon project. In the process, we're seeing contributions from avalon developers, avalon users and many other interested and helpful ASF individuals. Everyone is more than welcome to participate in the lively discussions taking place on avalon-dev and influence the direction avalon will be going. Note all the avalon mailing lists are now available through gmane [4]. The enormous amount of discussion is not easily summarised, however a status document is available [5]. --- [1] - http://nagoya.apache.org/eyebrowse/BrowseList?[EMAIL PROTECTED]&by=thread&from=268738 [2] - http://nagoya.apache.org/eyebrowse/BrowseList?[EMAIL PROTECTED]&by=thread&from=282421 [3] - http://jakarta.apache.org/avalon/pmc/AVALON-PMC-RESOLUTION.TXT [4] - http://www.gmane.org/ [5] - http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/jakarta-avalon/src/proposal/CHARTER.txt?rev=1.3 -------------------------------------------------------- thanks! - Leo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
