I don't have an opinion on the technical details. But I do have an opinion on the state of affairs when I see people aren't responsive.

The question becomes do we work with Meta, Info, or a new
tool?  I think the consensus is to work with a new tool for
new development.
Short term, shouldn't Info have provided deprecated interfaces, or shouldn't Phoenix change to use a set of interfaces that will be supported?
