I actually think it'd be better if this went back into the general gump area. That'd allow others who don't have commit access to avalon to fix gump errors related to avalon, and everyone who has access to avalon modules has access to the gump module as well so the reverse is not a problem.
jakarta-gump was created right after.
Centipede uses this descriptor to build interproject dependencies, so I reckoned we could do it with Excalibur.
Feel free to move it where you want if it fixes things.
