definately sounds like a bug to me allright. Will happily apply a patch.

Could you apply the supplied unit test for the time being? It probably could help in testing while developing a patch. Or does that make no sense to you?

As to releases, I need to figure out how to do that before I can do so...and a release of fortress is higher on my agenda atm. It'll hence be a while if I do it.

It's just a matter of making a downloadable JAR and putting a version number on it. It could be labelled an alpha release and have a version number below 1.0.

My boss is pestering me why I don't upgrade Avalon/Phoenix/Cornerstone and I have to give him some kind of answer.

I'd say there's a backwards compatibility problem and you're hoping to have it fixed @ avalon, and are waiting for that.

Yes, I can tell him that now. Previously I didn't know, because there was no reaction.
