thanks a lot, this file answers many questions. I now see that in order to configure Jetty, I'd have to modify Sevak itself and use Jetty's Java API for that.
The port parameter is an exception, I see that has already been implemented, so in a way that was a bad example in my question :)
I'll try to come up with a demo app and some docs.
