Hi, Is there any plan to turn JdbcDataSource into an Avalon block? I tried to use it in two Avalon blocks, and I had to put the configuration block twice in the configuration file. Had I used it in 10 blocks, then I would have to have 10 configuration blocks in the config file; not a nice picture.
There is such Avalon block in Cocoon. But using Cocoon when all you need is just the db connection pooling is a bit overkill. I think such db conn. pooling block belongs to Excalibur.
