Hi!
The
url you mentioned is a mailing list archive for an open source
project,
http://jakarta.apache.org/avalon.
You can probably find answers to many
of
your questions there.
As to
the specific issue you mention: I am by no means a unix
expert;
I
don't have a clue on doing process monitoring with Java.
hope
this helps,
Leo

Onderwerp: RajHi,How are u doing ? I have goen through the code that is available on the site http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01046.html , its very good. I have a MBean class that should implement the NotificationBroadcaster interface to emit the events to other MBeans which are registered as listeners. I am new to JMX and the Event Mechanism. So if could provide some information with which i can proceed to work.Whenever some new process created or killed, my MBean should be able to send the events to other MBeans or to some Management Services which are registered with the Agent.I do not have any idea how to implement these things together.So your earlier response would be appreciated.Thank You,Regards,Raj.G1363 Brice RoadReynoldsburg Ohio-43068614 501 6666 (w)614 751 6946 (h)614 501 0668 (F)
