Yes, this is what I was hoping to do. While Peter's suggestion of using the SingleAppEmbeddor would work, I would have to hack up the Cocoon servlet to load my application. Having Tomcat/Cocoon available as a SAR would be more reusable for everybody else that may have similar needs in the future.
