great :)

Skipping thru the mailing list archive I read that
ComponentManager is deprecated (correct me if I'm wrong).
Are there any other alternatives with regard to
"inter-block" communication?

good, very good.

let's say you got to add a new plugin-module to your
software and have to realize that a bug in some JRE-x to
switch to JRE x+ in order to be able to use the new module.
Then you realize that one server you have running in a
Phoenix block does not run in JRE x+ on another operating
system ... it was that kind of situation I was thinking of.
There are better forums to post such a question, but I was
interested in avalon users experiences in this regard.

Thanks + best regards!
