Hi all, i'm very new to avarice and I have just encountered a stubborn error in conjunction with my new bought JTAGICE mkII clone from Mcuzone. You can find a more or less detailed description of that device at:
http://www.mcuzone.com:8080/shop/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=234&productname= Before i've used avarice i have added the following line # JTAGICE mkII-CN SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ACTION=="add", ATTRS{idVendor}=="03eb", ATTRS{idProduct}=="2103", GROUP="johannes", MODE="0660", SYMLINK+="avrjtag" to an udev rule. The device file is reliably created once i have connected the mkII-clone with the USB port. When i check the functionality of the device with avarice, avarice tells me: AVaRICE version 2.12, Dec 15 2011 12:40:31 Defaulting JTAG bitrate to 250 kHz. JTAG ICE communication failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device Maybe you can help me, isolating or more specifically solving this error!? Thank you very much in advance!
