Hi all, I just compiled and installed the latest avarice version from SVN. First I didn't have the hidapi library installed when I compiled the tool. When I then tried to open my JTAGICE3 using the --edbg option avarice just terminated returning 1 without printing an error message. Even enabling debug output (--debug) didn't give an appropriate message.
When I looked online I found a forum post by Jörg (http://www.mikrocont roller.net/topic/391609#4495736) where he said that hidapi is required which I then installed. I recompiled and reinstalled avarice and now it works great. It would be great if you could include a message when the user tries to use --edbg without hidapi.
