I just downloaded avifile-0.53.5.tar.gz and had a compiling error. After investigating the issue I found that line 1818 of mpeg/mpeglayer3.cpp was missing a semicolon. After replacing it, the compile went fine. I see no need to send a copy of the file with the semicolon added but wanted to let you know about it.
