Yeah think so, I downloaded the X CVS binaries from dri.sourceforge.net.
However this doesn't seem to be aviplay-specific, it's just broken Xv with
tdfx. I can't test it further anyway, don't have voodoo anymore.

And it really happened only with larger videos. TV-caps were completely ok,
dvd rips crashed X.
