doh!  No, I hadn't.  I did this and I got a few short seconds of sound, but
then it drops 100% and locks up.  -sigh-  So close and yet so far. ;-)

No, I don't have any of these running.  I am, however, running devfs.  My
first inclination is to suspect this but as I said earlier it runs fine with
earlier versions of avifile soundwise (I just don't get any video then.)
