Did anyone try to compile avifile on solaris sparc ?
I know it may not work - different architecture - but I hope! :)
On the other hand - it seems there's a library developed by Sun that offers great
performance in coding/decoding video streams that might help improving performances on
at least x86 architectures.
There are a few posts about the performances of this lib at one of the Project Mayo
mailing lists.
