Hi!
I'm looking for a small utility to get information about a
moviefile in scripts. I've found mplayer to be able to
handle this (mplayer -vo null -ao null -frames 0) in most
cases except for ASF/WMV files. The authors says they don't
have fps and length values in their headers and they won't
scan the file to calculate it.
Then I noticed that avifile does exactly this.
What I would LOVE is a -info parameter to avifile that just
loads the movie and print out size, fps, length, codec,
sound etc and quits!
