Yes indeed. I had similar problems and was trying to find out how to fix it.
The correct way is to adjust the clock frequency of your sound card.
For maestro, this is done by using the
clocking=some_number_in_my_case_48820
module option. For other cards, you probably have to change it in the source
code. You can find the value experimentally.
