I did not mean to be sarcastic. I really do appreciate the work you guys
are doing. It's just that I haven't been able to compile almost
anything since I upgraded to Mandrake 8.0. Therefore, I'm fairly sure
that it is a problem with my system, and that it would be very hard for
any of you to fix, or even reproduce, without installing Mandrake. The
exact same source tree that compiled just fine with Mandrake 7.1 did not
compile at all in Mandrake 8.0. I will, however, download and attempt to
compile the current CVS if you still think that would be helpful. Also,
if anyone has any idea on how I could restore my system to normal, that
would be good too.
