Hello I just downloaded your avifile (avifile-0.6.0-20011018.tgz) and tried to install it. I first installed the win32 codecs, then the divx files. When I compile and build avifile I get the following error -
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/tmp/avifile-0.6.0.20011018/plugins/libdivx4' /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lesd collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tmp/avifile-0.6.0.20011018/plugins' make[2]: *** [test] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 I work with RedHat 7.1 default installation (all updates from RedHat applied).
