I know about this issue - but currently I have no idea why some distribution
needs this file and from where it actually comes from -

Does anyone here knows more about this ?


PS: it's quite common to compress large files into tgz - instead of sending
over 0.5MB emails - if you need to send such large emails -
just send it directly to me please...
