By default x86-opt switch is enabled and turned off if configure detects that 
build host is e.g. 486 or even non-x86, or if you have too old gcc. It is 
safe to build packages with this switch on, because there'll be additional 
check for CPU features at run-time. 3DNow optimized parts of code won't be 
used if 3DNow support is not found, etc.
