Hi !
Ok, I know, to listen to sound below 112 kbit I need to switch to the
libmad decoder. I tried it and this was the result:
aviplay: error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/local/lib/avifile0.6/libmad_audiodec.so: undefined symbol:
mad_stream_init__FP10mad_stream
I also tried to remove my /usr/local/lib/avifile-0.6 first (before
installing the binaries) but the result has been the same.
To resolve this problem I really had to kill my ~/.avirc
and everything from 112 kbit and up works again. BTW, it's
the latest snapshot version from November 16th.
An older version (directly from CVS) solved the audio problem, now
there is another one with libmad. I'd have stayed at the old version
but it was quite unstable with lots of segfaults and in this version
this bug seems to be the only one for me.
What do you think, shall I take another look at the uptodate CVS tree
now ? Or hasn't anything changed with libmad since November 16th ?
Bye,
Udo
