As a Debian developer with access to incoming I may 'enjoy' the latest greatest
Branden's action in the field of SDL package maintaining
- so I'm just putting big Warning here -
I've slightly fixed few files: Makefile.am to be linkable with latest Debian
with wonderful libsdl1.2debian 'made by Branden' together with Xfree_4.1.0-7
(I hope it's still linkable with the rest of distros)
but XFT support have to disabled otherwice you will get
completely unusable executable - it had took a lot of time to
figure this out - so Debian users may safe their time and
disable this in configure script with --disable-xft
