Here is the new version of my spec file. This time there are some comments:
- The spec file expects a cvs snapshot with the following format:
avifile-0.6-yyyymmdd.tar.bz2 (I prefer the bzip2 format)
- Now it creates desktop entries for aviplay, avirecompress and avicap! (Try
clicking on an avi file in konqueror or krusader)
- But icons are missing :(
- It's uses macros instead of hardcoded pathnames (%{_bindir}, nor /usr/bin,
%{_includedir}, not /usr/include, etc.), so I think it works on most distros
without a need for change)
- The only change you must to do is to change the date in the first line
(Release: date)

And now something completely different: some problems (bugs?)
- If I maximize the aviplay window, then press the normal size button, the
window remain maximized
- In avirecompress, in the source control window, when I click on the slide
bar, the file position remains unchanged, but when I drag the slider it works.
- Avirecompress again: If the source file decoded with ffdecoder, the
avirecompress window is black all the time (no picture), but the same video
plays perfectly in aviplay (with ffdecoder)
I am using 20011215 cvs snapshot.
